They say birth and the painful contractions that come with it are worth it when you see your baby. I will never forget when she gasped for air but all you hear are louder cries from the room and no sound from her. The worst pain is the feeling that God abandoned you. But I’m a “good” person, why do I deserve this?
Definition of abandoned- an act of leaving a person or a thing permanently. Left without needed protection, care, or support.
God was thinking of you and me when his Son was struck on the head, God was thinking of you and me when soldiers mocked and spit on Jesus. God was thinking of you and me when his Son carried that cross. With every nail, God was thinking of us. (Mark 15:37) then Jesus took his last breath.
God never left us without protection, care, or support. God gave his only son (care) so we don’t perish (protect) but have eternal life (support). John 3:16
It’s okay to feel abandoned but I’m here to remind you that we never were. Open your Bible, it says it right there.
